The students in my class love to learn in a variety of settings, one of which is at their desks. Having a space for students to share their work or share their thoughts in small groups will contribute to our classroom community. The students that are learning English require a space to feel comfortable to develop, share and practice their language skills. With the new carpet, the students will benefit from having a space to enhance a community where social-emotional learning is encouraged. The students are also very creative and enjoy diverse learning opportunities such as through their artwork. The students would be able to neatly organize their art in their own organized space.
