I work at an older Title I school. Over the years things become used and need to be replaced. I came to a classroom without a carpet and am requesting a new Fun with Phonics carpet. This large sitting area will allow students to have a place to comfortably sit during whole group lessons, stations, and many other activities. Without this carpet my students will have to sit on the tile floor. While it is manageable I believe having a comfortable place to sit will allow them to remain more focused during our lessons. This also creates a more warm environment where students can feel safe and loved.
