Starting out as a new counselor I am lacking the supplies to be able to effectively support my students. With these materials, I will be able to better serve my students. I have created a small "cool down" area where students can come and relax when they are having big emotions. I want to create a calm relaxing environment. The books will be great tools for students to aid in their own learning of why they may be feeling certain ways and how to handle these emotions. Games will be used to learn social skills. iPads would be a great addition to access different apps that students can use.
