We are so lucky in our classroom has had a rug for a few years. However, it is time to replace because it has gotten dirty and needs to be replaced. The new rug is a welcoming place to sit and work during morning meetings and mini-lessons. Additionally, my students need new seatbacks in which to store their supplies. We work at tables, so all of their materials are kept in their seatbacks. Many of these seatbacks are ones we have had for many years and they are ripped and dirty. My students deserve a clean, functional seatback to store their materials.
