Students will be able to participate in active learning in our gathering place using the easel to record ideas and notes from our discussions. The easel will be an excellent way to display anchor charts students help generate during group discussions. My students love reading and understand that reading "good" books daily is vital to improve their reading. The books I have chosen are distinguished titles for students in 5th grade. Our small group instruction table needs smaller seats (stools) for students to be able to gather together for teacher led instruction. Student chairs are bulky and don't allow 6 to 7 students to be at the table at once.
