Without a document camera, my students will have a hard time seeing what I teach up close. Anytime I'm showing them how to do a worksheet, project, etc, they won't be able to see it without the doc cam. We study rulers and fractions and will make it so much easier to see the different fractions on a ruler with a doc cam. We live in a sit down world but I believe kids need to move and should be allowed to have choices in their learning. I will give my students the opportunity to stand when they need to take a break by taking their work to the standing desk. Swinging their foot will help them move and give them a different perspective. We have morning choice activities at my school and I will use the STEM kits to put out during that time as well as inside recess. I want their play to be fun as well as meaningful and my kids love to do things hands-on! It will also tie in nicely to FolkTales!
