Morning Meeting is a central part of our classroom routine each year in my classroom, and because of that our rug has been pretty worn out! I want to be able to give my students a fresh, clean rug where we can learn about each other, from each other, and with each other. Last year, I noticed my students arguing over the "nicer spots" on the rug and I want them to have a fresh start this year without arguing with their peers! We also use this room multiple times throughout the day, for whole class instruction, games, indoor recess during the winter months, and as a free space for center time. Having this beautiful rug would provide a common space where they could learn freely!
