The donations for this project would make a difference in our student's learning by allowing us to work more closely with students in smaller groups. We teach 2nd grade, and several of our students find reading and computing math problems very difficult. The kidney table will assist us with smaller groups to see how well they may grasp a new concept in reading or math. In addition, having this table will allow us to work with smaller reading groups and help struggling math students with common math misconceptions. An example of how students would use it; is by having me work out a math problem by showing several different ways of solving it. The students will see each other's work so as not to repeat the same problem. I believe this table will improve our lives for the better by allowing us to develop a better understanding of how working together will help the individual and add value to the team.
