The materials in this project will make a difference in my students' learning and classroom experience in multiple ways. My students will utilize these books, not only to make new discoveries but also to determine reading interests and the materials will ensure that they have smooth transitions throughout the day! How did you discover a topic you love? My students need the opportunity to read many different types of books to figure out what types of books they are interested in. They will not know unless they have the opportunity to try and what better place than their classroom! Using the texts, students will be able to create book recommendations for their classmates. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will go towards purchasing engaging classwork and small group activities. Materials will also be used for classroom organization, printed materials, and engaging classwork opportunities.
