QR codes have revolutionized how many teachers connect students to learning. They look like bar codes, and when students scan them, they can link to a website, activity, or game. I would like to start using QR codes in my math and science classroom, but we don't have anything that can scan the codes in our classroom. Enter: This project! My students already love learning on and from screens; fully-funding this proposal would give them the opportunity to do it more! My dream for my students is that I'm able to use QR codes to create exciting math and science lessons, that they can then use the iPad to complete. The camera on the iPad will also help us document our new learning in the form of photos and video. Students can use a variety of free apps for skills practice, and to creatively show their mastery of learning concepts. If you can, please help me bring this project to my kids. Mahalo!
