Reading is key to academic success. A warm and inviting library will help encourage the students in my school to visit the library often. I want them to love coming to the library. I want the library to be the hub of activity in our school. I want my students to have positive feelings associated with the library and reading. My hope is to transform my existing library into a place where they feel inspired to come to the library often to relax and read. I want reading to feel important to my students. Providing my students with a comfortable space for reading will show them that we think that reading is important.
