I would love to build a safe and comfortable classroom that my students are looking forward to coming to every day. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and in an environment where they feel like they can be their best. My students may face personal challenges and may come to school leaving behind some very tough circumstances. I would love to give them a "safe zone" area with flexible seating where they can center themselves. I am requesting mats and a balance ball seat to help me achieve this goal. I have also requested some basics that will help me model organization and show a general love of learning.
