The whiteboards and markers will be used throughout the school year for collaborative discussions among students, reflections, analyzing data, and creating concluding models within small groups prior to whole class group discussion. Some lessons will require more justification and researching from trial and error methods that students can quickly edit. I love lessons where students become doctors and archaeologists for a lesson where they have to conclude with models of the different scenarios given. The student lessons usually start with phenomena that they must use to find out what, when, why, and how based on their own questions and models collaborated in their small groups.
