These calculators are basically handheld computers. They have Word, Excel, as well as graphing features. It will enable my students to learn how to explore and utilize technology in a way that will be useful in future jobs, that might require slope, pitch, and data analytics, which is something we are being pushed to add to the curriculum. We need to prepare kids for jobs of the future. I believe the Ti Nspire will help. Kids will really enjoy learning on this tool, and I cant wait to explore the possibilities with them. I have 21 students in my largest class, but am only asking for a teacher's set of 10.
