The iPad that I am requesting will bring the world to my students and take my students around the world. Although we have Chromebooks for each student this year they are limited in what they can explore. I have used my own personal IPad for many of our outdoor excursions but recently lost it in a home fire. I love the new and updated iPad that not only allows the students access to so many advanced programs but now they can write directly on the screen and submit it electronically to me. I know that having only one will limit whole class projects but I believe it will force each group to use their time wisely. The first projects my students will participate in is an All About Me visual collaboration lesson that allows them to recreate their family tree and bring in all of the cultural and historical facts.
