Last year several of my students expressed an interest in learning to paint. Students will learn about different painting styles and then apply what they learn to their own works of art. We will also study a variety of artists and look at the painting styles of each artist. I would like to designate a portion of my classroom for students to be able to paint on a daily basis. Students will display their work throughout the year in the school building and an art show at the end of the year. We are in need of canvases, paint and brushes in order for students to create artwork.
