I teach sixth-grade choir at a Title 1 school. My students come from diverse backgrounds and many do not have the opportunity to have a piano or keyboard to use outside of school. Having keyboards helps students visually connect notes on a page to vocal pitch and musical theory. Learning to play the piano is an essential skill for students to become successful and well-rounded musicians. For many, it's a skill that they carry on throughout their lives and a positive way to express themselves and give back to their communities. Please consider donating to help give my students these tools.
