My classroom has become the entire school. I am a High School Instructional Coach and PBIS Sponsor. My project will go to scholars needing Chrome Book chargers to successfully complete their work and stay up-to-date with their assignments at home. Our PBIS store supports scholars academically, socially and physically. They can use points to purchase school supplies, in-school incentives, and snacks. Our PBIS program was built to cultivate a culture of Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline and Engagement. We strive to accomplish this with a point system where we practice and reward scholars for demonstrating positive behaviors and accountability; employ conflict resolution skills through restorative practices and peer mediations to resolve conflicts, and encourage community engagement with school wide assemblies.
