My students need a new rug in class due to my current one is hazardous to students and me because it does not lay down anymore. It has bumps in it that trips people up. That is one of the reasons I need a new rug. A new rug would give my students a personal space when we are doing carpet time. When students are young they do not understand boundaries and a new rug would help them with space issues. A new rug would be beneficial to their learning and be more productive with them knowing where to sit each time we went to the carpet.
