As a new teacher my personal library collection is lacking. I want my students to be excited to visit our class library and fall in love with children's literature. Children's books touched my heart as a child. Some of which still hold a special place with me. I hope to build a collection of books that will keep my students amped about reading. Children's books are a beautiful key to teach children empathy, multicultural backgrounds, and life lessons. With your generous help, my students can have access to some of the world's most impactful children's authors that may just capture their hearts. I have also included several National Geographic Kids readers. These books focus on animals all over the world. During the year, my students will be learning how to write an informational piece about a specific animal. These books will give students an opportunity to research hands-on.
