My project will help my students gain the independence they need to be able to control their feelings. I would like my students to use these objects when they are feeling overwhelmed. In order for this to happen, I need to provide the correct materials for them. The students deserve multiple choices. These bean bags are just one option for my students to choose from. I have seen how choice benefits my students. The more they have available to them, the more they feel independent. I am hoping with the bean bags and other sensory tools that are available to my students, they will gain the confidence to use these materials without the guidance of ana adult.
