My students are all girls who come from New York. Most of them are first generation Americans and their parents have sent them to an advanced math and science school in New York to help them achieve the American dream. Some girls are even commuting an hour more because of the great environment that our school has. Unfortunately, due to sweeping budget cuts, we lack some resources to help them excel.
