The classroom library is a place that my students can relax, sit back and enjoy independent reading. All of our books that have been acquired have been placed there by spending time in thirft stores, community library sales and Scholastic book orders. Since going back to school to finish my degree in 2016 I have dreamed of this day! As a first year teacher I want to give my students every opportunity that I can give them. These book sets will allow me to provide an updated list of books to use in our classroom library and small reading group setting. Reading is the foundational concept to enhance learning in all other core subjects. Supplying these materials will enable to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create.
