Using these chromebooks in the classroom will help when teaching math and reading to small groups. It will also help them to get ready for standardized testing. It will give them practice with test taking strategies and practice with keyboarding skills. We do not have enough computers in the classroom and we have only a limited time in the computer lab to practice these skills. We will be able to use programs like Khan Academy. This will target the skills they need to work on and will help meet the Common Core state standards. Students have a high interest in learning when they are engaged and this technology will help with engagement.
