Newer and relevant books, as well as a comfy and attractive space to enjoy reading in will continue to draw students to the library and help them make those positive connections between establishing a love of reading and become responsible adults who are lifelong readers. By providing diverse reads, we can help build generations full of empathetic and compassionate individuals who will help make our world a better place. In light of recent events around our country, this is what our society needs. I want my students to feel like an investment in their education and in them, is all worthwhile.
