Remember the last time you created an amazing art project?! Or the last time you played around with materials to alter them? Or even the last time you tried to experiment with something? In all of these scenarios you probably learned something new about a material, a way of creating and ultimately about yourself. Maybe you felt challenged and excited. This is the kind of art education I want to give my students. One that teaches them to engage, persist, stretch and explore! In order to do that, I need to be able to organize supplies so they may have access to them. I need supplies they can use and I need to be able to document their work throughout the process! I am requesting an ink-jet printer, not only scan student work but to create colorful labels for materials and allow students to print their work. The lamination machine will be used to seal "guides" for the stations and materials around the classroom. Thank you so much for helping me, help engage my students to become independent and empowered artists!
