As a brand new teacher I want to start building a library for my students that is filled with engaging, inspiring, and enjoyable books. I want my students to learn to love the characters featured in these books and thirst to follow each character on their latest adventure. Research has shown that students who read books in a series have increased reading achievement as they are continually exposed to familiar characters, setting, and vocabulary. One of the best things about this amazing collection of books is that it will provide countless hours of reading enjoyment for hundreds of students. Brothers, sisters, cousins of my current students will walk through our classroom doors and be able to enjoy these books, too.
