My students learn best through hands-on learning opportunities on and off-campus, that teach core academics embedded with skills they'll need beyond school. They love interacting with staff and students, but are often lacking the social skills and chances to do so. Running a coffee business for our school staff would provide my students with real-world skills they'll be using for the rest of their lives. We will use a utility cart, a Keurig machine, mugs, coffee, and other beverage-serving accessories to assemble and deliver orders to staff campus-wide. We would also use a color printer to design our very own cafe labels. Our coffee cart and supplies will help our students develop responsibility, money management, and teamwork in such a fun and effective way. Please help our students learn to espresso themselves!
