When I visit SXSW Edu, I will experience dynamic keynote speakers, networking to incite changes in policy, expos emphasizing the importance of play, exposure to new start-ups in the field of education, and student-led sessions addressing entrepreneurship. Every child looks for a passionate leader who uses rigor and relevance to spark changes - changes in behavior, changes in attitude, and changes in our world. The sparks of wisdom, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking at SXSW Edu will transform my own pedagogy and classroom design while also affecting policy within our district to create the most future-ready citizens.
