I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade Reading Intervention. Many of my students came out of elementary school significantly behind in their reading skills. We are working together to get the skills and practice for the students to be at grade level. The problem is many books at a 2nd or 3rd-grade level aren't interesting to an 8th grader. This selection of books added to my library will help students find books that they can get excited about. Some of these are books that I loved and continue to love. Others are book requests straight from the students. These titles are what they want to read! They just need them in their hands, and you can help with that!
