My students are always eager to experiment with a variety of materials when creating their artwork. Having a choice in how they convey their message through their art is vital. Choice empowers and pushes my students to become even more invested in their work. When students have less limitations on the supplies available to them can truly express themselves. My goal is to allow my students to find their voice and to be able to express themselves in a totally different way. Access to a variety of paint colors and permanent markers is just one way to help that happen in the art room!
