Having a printer in our classroom would exponentially improve our learners with reading disabilities. Often times they need larger texts which require enlarging books or modifying text. We have access to printers on campus but they are not reliable and require regular internet access. By bringing a printer into the classroom, we can enlarge text and in real time print out writing samples to edit and peer review. This will engage our students with reading and allow them to grow this year. Often times our students are required to edit text online which does not work for some of our students with learning disabilities. I am excited to offer this ability to print so that students can have a hands on experience with editing and meet the needs of their abilities.
