Technology plays an important role in education, especially after the adventures of online learning due to COVID-19. My students utilize technology in many aspects of their education; math, science, social studies, and reading/writing. My students are always asking questions and wanting to learn more information. I would like a set of iPads to allow students to take charge of their own learning and helping to educate their peers. Students will use iPads in order to do research for classroom assignments. Students will also utilize iPads to work on typing any writing assignments. My students love listening to their favorite stories on different learning apps, it allows them to be in charge of their own learning. With iPads, students would be able to choose their favorite story to listen to while in the Reading Area and continue to build their love of reading. Students will also be using the iPads to continue their work on becoming accomplished writers. The writing process can be very difficult and stressful for students, but if students are able to utilize the technology on the iPad then they are given more tools to help them build confidence in their writing. My goal is to encourage and build confidence in my students. With your support I will be able to give my students more tools to help them learn and grow. My students are very tech savvy and I want to use that to help them become confident life long learners.
