My students currently live in the low social-economic area of Atlanta, GA. Access to individual laptops within the home is almost non-existent for my students. For the majority of my students, the only time that they receive access to technology is at school. With technology being in the for-front of 21st Century Technology instruction, it is imperative that everyone of our students have access to technology at anytime. The school does have tech-carts but not enough to provide access for every student. The additional HP Chromebooks will allow my students to have a better chance to have access when the current school tech-carts are in use. Additionally, the 5 extra HP Chromebooks will give students a increased opportunity to complete assignments that they wouldn't normally be able to complete at home due to the lack of accessibility.
