By purchasing Scholastic News Magazines, my students will be able to read about current events and issues that effect them at an age appropriate level and provide an understanding that will make sense to their inquisitive, young, minds. My students will use the magazines in their Social Studies groups and will discuss with their peers the events and issues that are effecting them today. They will share with the whole class, their findings, questions that they may have had and additional information that they were able to share with their group mates. News is important. Kids are curious. Scholastic helps!
