This table will allow me to meet with small groups during instruction. I teach third grade which is a very important year for students. It is a bridge grade which means students need to meet many requirements in order to go on to the next grade. This table will help me address the many individualized needs of my students in order to ensure they meet the many requirements for promotion. Having a place for guided reading will improve student fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. My class has many students who are English Language Learners so the extra support for vocabulary is vital. I will also be able to take small groups during math instruction to help students who need more support. This table will be a great addition to our classroom.
