Since my students spend a lot of time in the classroom, I am wanting to make it a place where they feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. It is imperative that they focus on learning, not on how sterile or uncomfortable their surroundings feel. Having the option of flexible seating or finding a cozy corner with a blanket to read are just a few ways my students can come to love learning! This is just one step in creating a place for students Some students don't feel at home at home, so it's important they can feel that at school. These items will help my students feel like home when they enter my classroom. My students deserve the best!
