Imagine walking into a classroom where there are tons of updated books across many different genres. This is what I picture when I think of an elementary classroom. I want to see the joy on my students’ faces as they see the new classroom library. These books will help my students escape from their lives, and travel through different parts of the world, decades and even lands. The rug will also proved my students for a comfortable place to cozy up with a book. I would love to update the classroom library so all of my students can find a book they love. This project will also help me with literature circles and guided reading, so that each child is independently reading on their own academic level.
