“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”  – Mark Twain I believe that starting students with a strong foundation will help them succeed academically and in life. By teaching them through gross motor activities, the students will have fun while learning important life skills. The students will build muscle, coordination and gain strength through physical activity. They will also build their social/emotional and cognitive development by learning how to self-regulate, problem solve, take turns, and be persistent while using the tricycles, hopping sacks and throwing bean bags at number targets. By donating to our project, you will be adding equipment that will continue to challenge my young students. The tricycles, hopping sacks, and bean bag throw will help my students develop skills that will stay with them forever.
