Children need to be provided the best learning environment in which to learn. The classroom rug is the place where we hold our morning meeting, whole group instruction, and read alouds. Primary students spend a majority of the instructional day on the classroom rug. My current classroom rug is not in the best condition. Inevitably, rugs in a primary classroom become dirty with stains, spills and mud. While our custodial team does its best to keep our building clean, the older a rug gets, the harder it is to keep it clean. Please help me give my students a quality classroom rug for this upcoming school year.
