My students do not have the means to purchase art supplies. However, that has not stifled their enthusiasm or love of art and creating. My primary goal in being an art educator is to teach my students how to express themselves; their thoughts, feelings, worries, life, through art. With these basic art supplies, including markers and colored pencils, my students will be able to learn and grow as individuals through the art making process. I will be able to offer them more opportunities to learn and grow through art. Their enthusiasm and creativity will be even greater with art supplies they need to fully express themselves.
