The students will use iMovie and similar applications on the iPads to create, edit, and publish ads for the school business and school events. Having the most up to date technology allows the students hands on experience in creating content to be used in the promotion of products or events. I want my students to see how important advertising is in the world of marketing and to ignite their interest in the marketing profession. Advertising is everywhere and can influence everything we do. My students will be using these iPads not only for videos but live advertisement feeds and creating print advertisements. An added benefit of iPads is they can easily be used outside of the classroom when recording content and can be used in conference calls and to take virtual field trips.
