I teach second grade. My students enjoy reading and working independently on hands on learning activities. I love that these activities allow my students to gain knowledge and confidence. If I had flexible seats it would allow them to sit comfortably anywhere in the classroom while they are engaged in learning. This is important because they usually engage in these activities for 15 to 20 minutes. This may not seem like a long time but uncomfortable seating can make it hard for young learners to stay focus for this amount of time. I don't want them to miss out on learning because of comfortable seats.
