We are striving to create an atmosphere in our classroom of excitement about reading and the worlds a good book can take us to. There is so much we can gain from reading, but the best learning takes place when students are inherently interested and curious about what they are doing. These supplies will help us create an atmosphere of a love of learning by changing our classroom from a place to "come and do work" into a place student can't wait to get to because they "get to come and explore". Students will take pride in their space and will be able to better delve into the worlds of science, social studies, math, fiction, nonfiction, and more through the lens of a good book and a safe space for exploration.

About my class
