History isn't something you memorize, it's something you do! My students learn to interact with primary and secondary sources to gain insight into how people felt, why they made certain decisions, and what those decisions mean for us today. Whether they are taking a virtual tour of the Versailles Palace, completing a webquest on the Underground Railroad, or exploring the sights and sounds of the Jazz Age and Harlem Renaissance, it could be hard to focus with the noise of 30 Chromebooks playing simultaneously. Having a class set of 30 Sony ZX Series Wired On-Ear Headphones will enable my students to interact with primary sources and multimedia on a more individualized basis as they investigate different periods of history. The headphones will especially support my English Language Learners who benefit from replaying audio and close listening at their own pace.
