By providing a writing and fluency center in my class it will increase student achievement and foster a love for reading and writing. I am seeking to add more innovation into my classroom by letting the students take ownership of their writing. By providing a writing and editing center into my classroom, the students have the freedom to focus on the creative side of writing. The students will decide how to edit their work and be able to display the finished product for the class and parents/guardians. Creative writing and reading fluency are essential in student achievement. My students need the opportunity to explore writing and improve reading fluency.
