This often means finding a place in the room where they can set up their materials and engage in small groups to actively work through solving math problems and activities or reading and working through comprehension. The materials I have requested for my students will ensure that as they move about the room they can always find a comfortable seat and a white board to solve problems and engage in their learning. My students are brilliant go-getters! These items will add to their level of independence and help them grow and glow.
