These books will be treasures in my classroom. I'm beefing up my classroom library where every student takes the 40 BOOK CHALLENGE at the start of the year. That's 40 chapter books in ONE SCHOOL YEAR! Most children are reading one or more books per week. Many of these books will help develop problem solving skills, and prove that hard work pays off. Students will get exposed to some characters and themes that handle social-emotional challenges and how to persevere and wade through the waters of life of a child. Several of these titles will be used in conjunction with STEM challenges, branching STEM with literacy and FUN!
