The newcomers and English learners that I have every year are eager to learn to speak and use English correctly in order to communicate with their classmates. and new friends that they have made. Due to their limited vocabulary and correct sentence usage, they need extra support to understand what is being taught, directions given, reading and comprehension. Students can communicate socially as well as function academically to become part of the community and feel accepted. Students will be able to utilize the iPads to receive language support from digital resources available from our Wonders ESL program and other applications. This will definitely help build their confidence in communicating with their peers and adults one-on-one or in group settings.

About my class
