Like I have previously stated, my students come from very low income households. Unfortunately, this means that they are less likely to come to school with a snack. Studies have shown that students with full stomachs do better in school; they are more engaged in learning. These snacks will ensure that my students are not held back due to hunger. Hunger should never limit a student's education. Please consider helping my students reach their expectations and goals by providing them with nutritious snacks. With your help, my students will have a great year of learning, and their tummies will always be full.
